Nickel Plated Brass Cable Glands

Product Introduction：

This cable gland is made of high quality brass with a fine nickel plated finish, offering strong mechanical strength and excellent corrosion resistance. It is designed for reliable cable fixing and sealing in industrial, electrical and automation applications.The nickel plated brass body enhances salt spray resistance and oxidation protection. Four standard thread types are available: PG, M, NPT and G, accommodating global installation requirements. With proper seals, the gland achieves IP68 or higher protection. The integrated clamping claw and sealing grommet provide secure strain relief, preventing axial pull or rotation. The typical operating temperature is -40°C to +100°C.

PG threads suit older European equipment, M metric threads are common in modern automation, NPT taper threads seal without gaskets for North American and hydraulic systems, while G parallel threads require a washer for British and plumbing applications.

Typical uses include control cabinets, junction boxes, automation devices, sensors, LED lighting, marine equipment, and renewable energy systems. With explosion proof seals, it can also be used in hazardous areas.

For correct selection, confirm three things: the cable outer diameter range, the mounting thread type and size (e.g. M20×1.5 or NPT 1/2), and the environmental conditions such as moisture or vibration. Additionally, verify the required IP rating for dust and water ingress protection, ensure compatibility with existing cables systems, and check whether certifications like ATEX or IECEx are needed for your operational region. Always refer to manufacturer datasheets for torque specifications and material compatibility—especially when exposed to corrosive chemicals or extreme temperatures.

Accessories like locknuts, O rings, and anti loosening washers are available. IP68 customisation and samples are offered upon request.
