Product Introduction:
When corrugated conduit must go straight through a control cabinet, distribution box or equipment panel without changing direction, a right-angle turn is not the only answer. A straight-through connector lets the conduit pass vertically through the outer wall and continue forward along its original axis, avoiding unnecessary bends and simplifying the cable routing. The conduit straight connector is designed precisely for this purpose.
Made from nylon 6 or nylon 66, this product is lightweight and corrosion-resistant. It remains stable when exposed to oil, chemical solvents or outdoor moisture, and operates reliably across a temperature range of -40°C to +110°C. Its smooth surfaces will not wear or scratch the corrugated conduit during installation or use.
The straight connector features a hybrid design with two different end types, yet both share the same central axis. The rear end is a standard metric thread (for example M16, M20 or M25), which is passed through a hole in the panel and secured with a lock nut on the inside. The front end is a quick-locking interface, with internal barbed ribs that match the external grooves of the corrugated conduit. To install, the threaded end is first mounted through the panel and tightened. The conduit end is then pushed straight into the snap-fit interface until the barbs fully engage the conduit grooves-an audible click confirms a secure lock. No tools, twisting or alignment adjustments are required, and the conduit continues along its original straight path into the enclosure.
Typical applications include cable entry points at the bottom of equipment, power inlet holes on the back of control cabinets, and straight pass-through openings in junction boxes. This straight connector is commonly seen below photovoltaic inverters, on the side panels of CNC machine electrical cabinets, and in the terminal areas of outdoor air conditioning units, where it joins outdoor conduit to the panel. It can also be used when two sections of conduit need to be aligned on the same axis while passing through an intermediate partition: the threaded end is fixed to the partition, and the snap‑fit end connects to the conduit on each side, creating a continuous straight channel.
For different environmental requirements, the threaded end can be paired with a silicone or rubber sealing washer. When the lock nut is tightened, the washer creates an effective barrier against external moisture and dust. The snap-fit end accommodates common conduit outer diameters ranging from 13 mm to 25 mm, and some versions support 32 mm. The standard colour is black with UV stabilisers, while light grey or white options are available to match equipment aesthetics.
In summary, the conduit straight connector addresses the fundamental need of passing conduit straight through a panel. Together with the right angle connector-which handles a 90-degree turn it forms a complete family of panel‑entry solutions. Depending on your actual routing path, choosing the straight connector gives you a fast, secure and well‑sealed pass‑through connection without altering the direction of the conduit.
